Pamela Anderson Pics

Biography:

A pneumatic blonde model and Playboy playmate turned actor, Pamela Anderson (who has variously been billed as Pamela Denise Anderson, Pamela Anderson Lee and Pamela Lee) had co-starring roles on "Home Improvement" and "Baywatch", which meant she had two of the biggest hits on TV. She received her first break when she appeared up on the big stadium screen at a British Columbia Lions football game wearing a Labatts beer shirt. The shrewd company quickly signed the photogenic Canadian to star in an ad campaign as the "Blue Zone Girl." Anderson next moved to L.A. where she appeared on such sitcoms as "Married... With Children" "Married People" and "Top of the Heap." At the same time, she could be seen posing in Playboy, appearing on the cover six times to date.

Anderson's steamy sensuality stood out on ABC's family sitcom "Home Improvement", as the show-within-a-show's sexy "Tool Time Girl", Lisa Sudarsky. After two seasons, Anderson left that show for a five year stint (1992-97) an even bigger international hit, the syndicated "Baywatch". She proved an apt choice to play lifeguard C J Parker, a part that called for her to run, swim and act dressed in a one-piece Speedo.

Anderson's big-screen ambitions have taken awhile to get off the ground. Pre-fame, she played a cheerleader in the crime thriller "The Taking of Beverly Hills" (1991). She next parlayed her "Baywatch" success into starring role in the straight-to-video thrillers "Snapdragon" (1993) and "Raw Justice" (1994). Big-screen fame--if not acclaim--arrived with the big-budget, unintentionally hilarious feature "Barb Wire" (1996), with the tattooed, rubber-clad Anderson as the futuristic comic-book heroine of the title. She appeared in the TV-movie mysteries "Come Die with Me" (CBS, 1994) and "Naked Souls" (HBO, 1996). In 1998, Anderson found her niche as Valerie Irons, a small-town girl who becomes famous after saving the life of an actor and goes on to open her own security firm in the hit syndicated series "V.I.P."

Anderson has also kept her name in the press through her high-profile, stormy marriage to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee (notably with her bikini "wedding gown," a stolen honeymoon sex video, and Lee's substance abuse).
